dont hole saws usually have an attachment built in for a drill?

I have a kit with different sizes of hole saws. The hole saw is attached to a drill bit that comes with the kit. Use pliers to change out hole saws on the drill bit.

Use a chuck to tighten the hole saw drill bit in the drill unless you have a chuckless drill. If you have a chuckless drill, you tighten it by hand. You can also hold on to the end of the drill (by the drill bit) with one hand while bumping the finger switch on the drill with your other hand. That's how to tighten and untighten drill bits on a chuckless drill.

The same way you would attach any other bit.

Loosen up the chuck put the hole say in, tighten the chuck.

Be careful hole saws can be a little dangerous if they get out of control.

Depending on the type and model of your drill. Some drills have chucks as expalined by other guys, some have SDS locking system which upon insertion of your bit will click and locked in place. To retrieve push the sleeve down and pull the bit out.

hole saws usually come in pieces, the drill goes in the chuck as usual and the hole boring saw of your selected size(generally you get a number of different radii) clips into the housing attached to the drill bit

I'm sorry will not answer. If it is too hard to figure out even with out any experience, than you really should not be using a hole saw, there is a strong probability that you will hurt yourself. (The mandril should be in the hole saw if not get one, then attach mandril to drill chuck) Please dont do the job you are planning to do untill you get some proper instruction on how to handle power tools. Your local home depot or lowes or similar usually gives classes on how to operate power tools

grab hold of the chuck and twist, when hole is big enough to insert holesaw twist the other way to tighten...easier to ask your neighbor to show you than to explain it. its too simple for words...
