Hi
I am having a wedding coming up and the hall I rented does not have a dance floor. I am seeing if I would be able to make one myself. Does anyone know exactly what i need (type of wood, polish,...) and how to make it?
Thanks

A few years ago, one of the greenhouses I go to had one patchouli plant that was ordered special, then the person didn't pick it up. I had it about a year, outside in zone 5. It did well until a freak snow. It died. I have been searching every where???? Anyone?

I have an outdoor faucet that has a slow drip. It's freeezing here in Chicago now, so there's a big chunk of ice coming from it. I'm wondering if I'm in danger of the pipe bursting or is the slow drip actually helping it from bursting? Should I break off the ice to clear it and let the drip flow more easily or might that damage the pipe?

I used to be Tide all the way until they got sooo expensive, then I went to the few that are cheaper Arm & Hammer, Wisk, and Sun. When Gain or Tide is on sale I buy them, what do you think?

Smelled a faint but clear gas odor in furnace area last night. Called gas co., they found no leaks. Since then, furnace will come on, but only blow cold air. It has no pilot light - it's an electrically controlled mechanism, apparently. There is still a gas smell, though our gas fireplace works fine.

If I buy another remote with the same model number as my old one, will it be able to be programmed without going into the actual housing of the fan itself? Or do I need to call a professional?

It is a Carrier 110 series from 2004. The cost of running it is the main consideration. I have allergies so running it all the time helps for that.

My son cooked Easy Mac-n-Cheese w/o water. Luckily, there was no fire, just acrid black smoke. I cleaned the microwave oven with hot water and then heated up some water w/ lemon juice for a couple of minutes and left it in to steam the odor out to no avail......HELP!

I've heard coffee was an effective fertilizer/compost ingredient, but I don't know why and what makes it so. Any fact-based explanations (and testimonies from others who have tried using coffee as fertilizer, even) would be very much appreciated. Please and thank you! :)
