Hi
I am having a wedding coming up and the hall I rented does not have a dance floor. I am seeing if I would be able to make one myself. Does anyone know exactly what i need (type of wood, polish,...) and how to make it?
Thanks

I also inquired about renting a dance floor from various companies, but I'd much rather build one so I can also use it when other family members of mine get married

Congratulations on the wedding!! And I am unsure how you would go about making one by yourself. At my brother's wedding, they were married outside in a garden and the reception was help in a tent with a tile floor. What they did was just take a bunch of pieces of polished wood (the kind you can just click and snap together), made the size they needed, and then put a protective rubber layer kind of thing around the outside edges.

I'm not sure if that made any sense, but good luck!!
