I am thinking about buying a snowblower and I've come across the terms single stage and two stage snowblowers. What is the difference?

I have a driveway that is two cars long and two cars wide and we get a fair amount of wet, heavy snow. Will I need a two stage on that basis?

All responses are appreciated. Thanks.

I feel like an idiot asking this..but we just moved (just across town) out of a duplex three weeks ago, but have not been able to rent out the duplex...I left the heat on in the duplex because it is winter and cold out...I went over to check on the heat because we have been having -30 windchills yesterday morning and everything felt great, temp was just above 70 degrees. Then last night I got a call from my landlord who said the neighbor called him and he was now at our duplex, the one he owns, and it was flooded from the upstairs bathroom bathtub pipe bursting. The whole living room ceiling and a bunch of drywall had to be removed and a cleaning crew had to come in and professionally clean it. My question is, generally is he responsible or am I?

I'm remodeling my bathrooms and want to replace the shower/tub faucet & control. I currently have Delta with pressure balance. If I wanted to change that to a Moen, do I have to change the pressure valve as well or can I use the existing one?

I'm an architecture student who's designing a two-storey family dwelling. We were asked to design it assuming that the family is in the middle class. My problem is how to design the exteriors and what materials to use.

I'm 19 and been living with my hubby for about 5 months. we've only been married about 2 weeks.

We live in UK where there's no Cenrtal air conditioning in our flat. Could that be the cause of all the mold/mildew that forms everywhere? Well, it's gets all around the window edge and blinds. Also, it gets along the bottome of the walls, in corners, and behind things. Also, it's all over my hubby's guitar case , and my suit case?

***How can I keep it from occuring?
***What's the best way to clean it off the walls? (white painted)
***Will bleach-based cleaners kill the miold or only dye it?
*** should I leave the windows only more??
(In my defense, I come from Texas, and it's usually not this cold, so I tend to want to close the windows all the time! )

Thanks for any help you can offer! :-)

I have an oil fired hot water system. There are 2 seperate circulators. Both circulators are working. One zone gets nice and warm, the other doesn't. With the ciculator running the radiators only feel slightly warm and the house remains cold. The thermostat seems to be working properly. This just started recently. Any suggestions?

I would like to cement some pebbles to the top of my ugly wall, and presumed mortar would do the job. After experimenting, I find many pebbles are still rather loose. Is there something else I can add to the mortar to make it stronger, or should I try an alternative method? Also, do I need to prepare the wall in any way before I add the mortar?
Thanks in advance!

This happened 12 days ago and since then i have had no heating or hot water. We have been told by the council that they will contact us to arrange some one to come out and fix the problem however we have heard nothing from no one. What can we do? its freezing and the council keep telling us to wait on hearing from the contractor, they won't even give us a contact number for them!

Two fencing panels blew down in the recent storm in UK along with the central post. It is on the left of my home (rear). My Landlord (Housing Association) says it is not on the deeds for this house and said it belonged to next door. They say no and have provided written evidence of such. Now my Landlord (Lady on reception to be precise) is saying that it is tenants responsibility. Where do I stand?
