I really would like a professional looking finish, I am putting new hardware on them and really like the idea of a glossy white NON painted look, any ideas? Can I take them and have them dipped or coated? Thanks!

I have a leak in the roof and it is time to replace it anyway. Already have 3 layers of shingles on the roof, so I'm going to do a complete tear down first.

I just bought a home in Los Angeles, CA and decided to put a fence around my house and my neighbor currently has a concrete fence or wall around his property. Can I use the fence or wall on my side of the property to hold the fence that I want to install. I have already tried talking with the neighbor and he does not want me to touch his wall at all. The only thing that I will do it maybe drill 2-4 holes to attach the fence. It will not cause any damage at all to the concrete fence. And since the fence or wall which is on my side of the property can't I use it since it is on my side. If anyone has had this problem or know someone tell me what they did or were I can go or call to ask about what to do. The biggest problem is that the work has already been started and I have paid for half of it and I can't just stop it now because this neighbor is being so mean.

This a new house and contracters were no help on how to clean wood floors, granite, shower doors and stainless steele. I have all the basic cleaners for all, but frankly.......they all suck! Especially the cleaners for my glass shower doors, like I said, I have all the basic store cleaners and I still see those ugly water marks.

I just recently got my varsity jacket. It has white leather sleeves. REAL leather. It can't be dry-cleaned. I got a bit of dry-erase marker on it. I just tried a little bit of nail-polish remover and it's deteriorating the leather. I tried this thing I have called "Mark-B-Gone" and it's not helping. Is there anything the I can use to get the mark off the leather?

The door will only go up a portion of the way. It looks like the track that it runs on is made of 3 metal pieces that are welded together. Where one piece meets the other it looks like they are out of alignment. This is where the opener stops going up. Is there anything that can be done to fix it temporarily? Duct tape?? Incidentally, it is very cold today (-5) so I'm not sure if that's part of the problem as well.
