that sucks... any hope of financial aid or a school loan since you are in college?

Where do you live? Why were you emancipated if you have no where to go? Prayers are with you. Maybe check in to the YMCA til you can get on your feet, but I imagine that will be awhile since you are only making $5.50 and only 15 hours a week.

Go to your college and see about getting into the dorms or a fraternity. You might also want to look into the local shelters as many of them have links or information on low cost housing.

If you really want to get off the streets, get 3 square meals a day, have a roof ALWAYS over your head plus continue with your education, look into Job Corps. They have centers all over the country ( I went to the one in Clearfield Utah).

Job Corps is a Federally funded program for young people age 16 to 24 where the government pays for your housing, food, clothing and education, PLUS gives you a monthly salary (granted it's only like 50 bucks a month but they pay for EVERYTHING so the money is yours to spend how you want.)

Job Corps is a great program and has helped many people get a good start in life including, George Foreman, James Edward Almose and myself.

Check out their web site: http://jobcorps.dol.gov/

good luck and God Bless

Ask your counselor to help you. There are shelters and possibly you could stay at the Y. Do you have any relatives who could help you?

Can you go home with your parents? Other relatives to help?
