We have hot water everywhere else in the house, and the cold water works in the sink. However, the hot water isn't going into the dishwasher either. Any ideas? We are having really cold temperatures right now, but I really don't think the line is frozen. Help!

She said that is was not likly a TV or light bubles but a major electric appliance. We have a gas heater, gas water heater and stove. We have not added any new appliances. We have not done any different that I can think of. Any ideas on where to look for what could cause such a jump? This is not something I want to see again on my bill.

Our new home is 16 months old. In the 2 toilets we noticed a slight "dirt trail" into the bowl from the holes under the rim. It appears that the couple of areas in the bowl are getting "dirtier". We scrub the toilets 2x a week. There is no dirt in the bottom of the tank. Our faucet filters are clean. We can't see any sediment in our white tub either! We had a soft water system installed just after we moved in. Two doors away a new home has been under constuction the last 10 months. Could that have stirred up sediment in the water pipes? We live in a rural area and the water is supplied by the county. Wouldn't the water softener system filter the sediment? We live in Florida. Could it be mold inside the rim? We greatly appreciate any advice. Thank you. Jan

Tonight, I turned on one of the burners of my stove. It ignited and then it looked as if half of the burner was on. I only had 100 flame when I turned the gas to low. I checked all of my burners and they all did this.

This was the first time I turned my stove on today. Yesterday, everything worked fine. I had the oven heating while I was trying to turn on a burner.

It's been v. cold these last few days (highs of 4F, lows in the negatives)

Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.
