I lived in a house in the bathroom the sink would freeze up in real cold weather. The cold or the hot water would still run the tub/shower. It depends where the pipes ran. If you have access to the pipes to the shower. Open the shower valves and take a hair dryer. Warm the pipes up until they start to run. Don't use a torch. Not safe as fire hazards goes. If a section of frozen pipe is heated in the middle. The water will heat to a boil and bust. You must a draft on the pipes to fix. If not heat tape to apply if the pipes are in a crawl space of both.

i would say that maybe the shower line is either frozen solid before it splits to another pipe or its on a seperate line that is frozen. Its definitely the weather.

is there a spiket in your shower? does the water come out of it? if it doesnt you may have a frozen water line. If it does you may have a blockage in your shower head. take your shower head off and see if water comes out.
