On a programmable thermostat, Mine is set for 65 during the day 69 for the evening. 65 at night and 72 for morning wake up and shower. Back to 65 for the day. On the weekend 68 all day same program.

I live in Kansas and generally leave my t-stat set at 75 degrees. I use this setting as well during the summer time for my AC. When you change your t-stat settings more than 4 degrees is when your bill tends to rise higher.
