i have a teenager lining with me and she is going back to school. she does pay rent. but seeing that she is in school i have decreased her rent in leau i do expect that she does some housekeeping what should i espect her to do? i don't think that she should have to do my laundry or clean my toilet as she has her own bathroom.... i need some advice

You both need to sit down and decide what you expect. Put it in writting and both sign the agreement. If she is a student paying rent I would say she must not be home much,still she should pick up after herself.

whatever needs done, sit down with her and ask her to treat the house as if it were hers. If trash needs taken out, take it out. Dishes need washed, wash the dishes, same with vacuming and so on. If she is responsible enough to have been paying rent she should be able to take on the responsiblitie of knowing what needs done to help out.

Vacuum, dusting, mopping floors, picking up (especially her own things). Mowing lawn or yardwork.
