I have tried to grow them in jiffy pellettes, in the soil directly but never had any success. I hear every one say they are easy to grow. I live in southern California. any tips will help.

In the spring after the danger of frost is gone, work the ground up very well until it is free of clumps. Sprinkle the carrot seed in a line and cover very thinly with fine dirt. Sprinkle dirt gently over the top but don't pat it down. Water with a fine spray. They will grow!
