Salt. Or 1001 spray stain remover. Vanish.
Whose body have you wrapped up in a rug, then?

Dampen with cold water and rub salt on it. Take a clean, damp cloth and rub in well. Use a dry cloth to remove the liquid - this should be cloloued with the blood. Repeat until stain almost gone and then use carpet shampoo to finish off. If you have a VAX carpet cleaner it does a good job.

,try pouring a little white wine on the stain, it should lift it out . normally if you have a red wine stain on your carpet or clothes the white wine lift´s it out . This should work with your blood stain too ,use some kitchen roll to blot the stain then wash with a little of your own hair shampoo, remember to place a towel with a heavy object on top , this will soak up any water that is under the surface.

there is a powder call LA Awesome Oxygen found at the dollar store. We had some wine, dog "__", and some dried blood in the carpet, it got it all out very quickly and did not damage the carpet. Plus the stuff only costs a buck.

Goo Gone works very well at getting out Blood and Many other Pesky things. I use it at work a lot of the time when stains need removed. It works very well and after you use it you cant even tell there was a stain there. I included a link to it.

when you plan the murder put down lots of plastic sheeting. This stops the blood form going on the carpet and then you also have a ready made material in which to roll the body in for ease of transport. Take care to tape up both ends of the roll when you pick it up to avoid leakage.
Look if you are having real trouble send me £5,000.00 and I can come and do it for you.

YOU CANT USE BLEACH IF YOU HAVE A WOOL CARPET OR A WOOL MIX CARPET IT WILL RUIN THE COLOUR, SALT DOESNT WORK EITHER,
BECAUSE BLOOD HAS IRON IN IT - USE SOMETHING THAT WILL REMOVE IRON. LIKE A RUST REMOVER SPRAY OR LIQUID - OR TRY ''STAIN DEVIL'' THEN USE A CARPET STAIN REMOVER - OR HAVE THE SPOT PRO CLEANED

White wine. also dribble some water over it then pore some salt and rub it in. if the stain is new it will work perfectly. if it is old then leave it tell it drys up after scrubbing into it, then just hoover the salt up the next day. should work ive tried it and it worked. good luck.

I'd recommend Oxyclean. My mate spilt red wine on a new mattress and it came up like new, not a mark to be seen. I've used it to get red wine out of a tablecloth in the washing machine. Its one of the only products I've found that lives up to its hype!!
