Put vinegar and water into a spray bottle and spray the area or pour a cup full of vinegar and water onto the stain and then blot it up completely. It is usually impossible to get rid of the stain and odor because it get into the padding and underneath. Good luck:)

At pet stores (Pet Valu, Petsmart, Superpet) they sell products which are for removing urine stains and odors. The best one that I've found is called Orange Apeel. It's saved my floors, beds, carpet, etc... from puppy pee. I use it to clean up after all my pets. It's an all natural organic citrus, works fantastic and smells even better. It's not cheap but it's worth every penny! You can check it out at www.orangeapeel.com or call 1-800-956-6866. Good luck

use some of your own hair shampoo , wash they area with a soft sponge , don´t rub or scrub this will only brake the fibers of your nice carpet, once it has dried place a towel & a heavy object on top of the towel ,as even although the stain has been removed the under side of the carpet is still wet, and sooner or later the water , with any of the dirt from the stain will make it´s way back up again , leave for 24 hrs then wash again if needed

Kid's N Pets - Wonderful product available at Wal-Mart and Target in the carpet cleaning aisle. Make sure you use full strength and "saturate" the stain. It will remove the stain and the odor.

Nature's Miracle is the best product. I use it all of the time. You can get it at a pet supply store. It breaks down the enzymes in the urine so it won't be able to be smelled by her again.
