I am painting a mural of two of the "CARS" characters from the movie, we have picked out a bed thats a fire truck, and we are painting the other walls a light blue. However I am stuck at this point, I need other ideas to go with what I have choosen already. Black checkered flags in not what I am looking for, my son doesn't favor nascar, or drag racing, he just likes cars! Oh the room is supurbly sized 12x14 with a walk in closet. Please I need help!

Wall border painted on that looks like a road? Thick strip of black paint and put yellow or white down the middle.

Memorabilia from Route 66?

Use road cones for lamp bases.

Quotes from the movie?

A family member designed their son's room with a transportation theme. The part I loved the most was that they installed a train track around the perimeter of the room near the ceiling (even had it going through a "tunnel" which was the cornice for the window treatment). You could also hang airplanes from the ceiling! Instructions on creating a train track border are included on HGTV site (see link below)

My sons' room has several borders (all the way around for each) of actual hotwheel cars. They love them and the room is quite the conversation piece.
