Tomato is not a herb.. its classified as both a veggie and a fruit..
sorry i had to say that..
My favorite herb would have to be Basil.. The smell of fresh basil is sooo yummy.. I have a lil mini herb garden right outside my door.. so everytime i walk outside i have to stop and pick a leaf so i can smell it.. (yeah weird i know)

Favorite......as in just ONE??? I can get it down to two......with difficulty.......

Basil because I love it fresh. Rosemary because the plant looks nice all year round and so versatile in the kitchen.

I planted Basil last year, it was so easy to grow and it realy added alot to my dishes. Yummy

Mint,I just love it,We have it in the garden and use it for so many things,With lamb mint tea grind it in the mortar&pessel mix with sugar and sprincle it on pineapple,To many outer uses to mention..

I REALLY LIKE BASIL,BECAUSE IT IS AN AROMATIC HERB&IS A GREAT ACCOMPANIMENT TO PASTA DISHES.

One year, I grew sage, basil, oregano, and thyme in a pot together. And I loved it!
