We have a beauitful back yard, except for 2 concrete septic tank lids. They are 12 feet from our patio door and are 2 feet from each other, they are about 18-20 inches across. I'm looking for any idea to hide them, it has to be something that can easily be moved off, to allow yearly access.

Best idea gets the 10 points...thanks for any suggestions

We have a venetian blind, but we don't know how to hang it. I'm assuming it's a case of drilling holes, and screwing it to the wall. Any suggestions or tips?? We're hanging it from the ceiling above a deep alcove window, it's made to measure so the size is perfect , we just don't know how to hang it.

I started a project a month ago to paint some interior walls but I got too busy to finish, can I continue with interior paint that has been sitting in our garage in below freezing temperatures to work again? I was wondering if I need to go buy another can of the same paint instead of messing up and taking a risk of using what I have already started to uset. Can anyone help me before I begin the project again. HELP!

We have water coming through cavity in the kitchen everytime it rains and the wall is so wet its crumbling, we have cracks appearing around window frames and on walls. Windows that have moved out of their frames, stairs which are seperating from the landing, a porch extension moving away from the house. On outside we have vertical, horizontal and diagonal cracks appeared in the render. The driveway next to house is cracking and sinking. We now have water coming in the upstairs hallway so not sure if its coming through roof or not. We know its not subsidence, we know wall ties have gone but have been told that they alone would not cause all these problems. We are having drainage checked. Can anyone give me any ideas of what else to get checked. Its looking like insurance company are going to be of no help at all. Its looking like its all down to us at huge cost.

My house has settled somewhat and the corners of my tiled shower stall/bathtub have split open some. The tile is in great shape, it is just the corners that have separated some.
Is it necessary to remove the old grout before applying the new? Do I have to have a grout knife? I've never applied grout, so except for having a clean, dry area, is there any prepping I need to do first? Afterward, I'm sure I need to wait 2-3 days before bathing/showing in the bathroom.
Any information/instruction you can give me will be appreciated immensely!

I recently purchased a home and have noticed that there are gaps above the doorhandles. Obviously the person installing the handles drilled the hole too large. I would love to know if there is anything that can be done so that the gap can be repaired or do I have to at some stage buy new doors. ( the doors sound hollow to me too) Its quite annoying as the handles are a little wobbly as they dont have the proper tension due to the gap being there..
