I guess its according to how deep you let your imagination go. If you believe the bamboo in the bedroom brings you luck, then it will. If you have it in there already your luck has already begun, you are special because you want a lucky plant in your sleeping area, you could make it a ritual every night to ask the bamboo to bring you good luck in your dreams and through out your day.
Luck is what ever you need it to be!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Why not grow a whole room full, their easy to care for and put oxygen into the air. Good Luck growing.

I have bamboo plants in every room at my home. I combined the bamboo with ivy plants to make it more decorative and a few long stem roses that get replaces once a week.
Lucky...is a state of mind. What ever you think will happen. If you think your unlucky, any small thing will prove you were right.
These things are just small things that help us remind ourself to be positive in our daily lives. What we invision, we will attract.

Lucky? Nah. They won't do anything for you or against you. I have yet to meet one with motivation either way.
