We don't have basements in Texas and I don't want or need to use the 'bunker'. I need to seal it up once I pump the water out and the foundation is evaluated and repaired.

Weird as it may sound, there is carpet in my bathroom. I have classes, I work and have to study, plus everyone uses my bath. How do I maintain it and keep it clean with such a busy schedule??

A link to an example would be great, since I don't think we can post pics in our answers. I'm just wanting to know what people would actually buy. I'm going to start a small business to make a little money on the side...nothing big right now. I'll make custom aprons. Custom in that they get to pick out the style, colors, pockets, ruffles, etc. I would like to put a few styles to choose from on the sight, and I have an idea of what would sell, but I want to see, if I'm on the same page as everyone else. Of course they could do a style not on the site, but already having a visual to choose from would make it a lot easier for both the customer and myself.

I realize many people simply make their own aprons, and most people don't even use aprons at all, but if you are someone who does like aprons, please tell me what you'd actually buy. Thanks!

(moving out and complaining not an option) Are there any home remedies I can try to get rid of these roaches? I spray once a week. They're not huge and I just cleaned my apt top to bottom and discovered that they're not living in my apt somewhere they must be in the walls. I think it might be the ceiling b/c I ONLY see them on the walls & ceilings. They are always running too (I assume b/c of the spray) so it's like they just move through my apt. I've heard of several things I can do to the floor/cabinets but what could I do for the walls & ceilings besides spray?

I need to know if there is anything I can put on them to save from bugs eating at the bare wood. Should we trim the limbs to make them even before applying anything? I've heard of applying tar to the scars to prevent insects entering. This information will be useful to many people in Missouri, Oklahoma and Kansas.

WD-40, DUCT TAPE, BUNGEE CORDS.

These three products get a lot of use around our house! How 'bout yours?
Might be interesting to know if you're a man or a woman.

This is not a joke. The upstairs sewer line is almost directly above the basement bathroom one. We smell it in the hallway, outside the basement bathroom. We have city sewage and toilets under 5 years old, the same with the seals.

I have a "clear" shower curtain that has those darn "water spots" on it. There is no mold or dirt, JUST those darn water spots. I tried spray window cleaner, but that doesn't clean them.

ANY suggestions???

I would like to know the name of the decorator on the top of the window. It usually matches the curtain on both sides of the window.
Is it called skirt, panel, ...? Thanks a lot!

I have a pillowback couch and loveseat. The pillows open up with a zipper and I can add more padding/stuffing to them. Is there any stores that carry stuffing for furniture? I heard bed bath and beyond would carry it, but they don't. What about Linen n Things?

Thanks

My son called today (married and long out of the house), asked what I was doing, told him cleaning, scrubbing, etc. He said "Mom, your life would be alot easier if you got rid of the dogs or Dad"!! LOL!! I told I couldn't choose right now, don't know who I love more--The old labs or the old Dad!! Then Dad came home and walked over my clean floor with muddy boots--it starting to get easier to pick!!!!!!
