Does anyone know how to repair a hairline crack in a coffee mug? I plan to continue drinking out of this mug so the fix would need to be non-toxic.

Thanks for your help.

I have been using an upright kerosene heater. Due to the warm weather here in NC, I have not had a chance to crank it up. But I have recently purchased a new flat top kerosene heater. I have some left over kerosene from last winter and was wondering if it would alright to use the kerosene that I have on hand or would it be prudent to go and get some new or have some new mixed in with the old?

I would like some answers ASAP for a winter storm warning is in effect for tomorrow in my area. Thank you all.

Will ordinary floor tiles be strong enough to put down on a garage floor? In other words will they take the weight of a car without cracking?

My husband and I are going to paint our wood paneling in our basement. It has a glossy look to it. Do I need to sand before priming or can I just prime and paint? Should I use a special kind of primer?

We moved into my house a little over a year ago (without a home inspection) and we have never used my fireplace. Do we need to have it professionally inspected or should it be safe to use?

For my son's B'day I bought natural finished tv trays and am in the process of decoupaging each tray top with his favorite pics from fav tv shows. On 1 tray I am applying a handmade checkers/chess board, with a couple of characters from Prison Break (if I can post pics let me know and I will). I used Staples for printing out my pictures (they are fab) then Modpodge for gluing down the pictures, then 3 top coats of Modpodge, then 6 coats of spray varnish. Will this be enough in terms of sealing?? My son asked if there would be staining or if the pics would peel off or if food is spilled can we wipe it clean without taking anything else off? Thanks for any help!!!!!!!!

Sometimes I notice that on my clothes there are what looks to be like wet spots, but they're dry. I can't get these stains out. What are they and how do I get rid of them?

The seller says it has been corrected. They fixed drainage problems around the house, sealed under the house with polysheeting, installed a ventilation system under the house and replaced all flooring and vinyl.
The house has clearly been well cared for. Except for the mold history, it's in great shape. How do we know everything is OK now? We are going to have an inspection of course, but what should we make sure they are looking for?

I do not want to shrink it, and its cotton. Do i throw it in with other whites like socks? Do I wash them cold, warm, or hot? will color safe bleach be okay? i hang dry my shirts, so drying isnt really a concern, but i need help with the washing portion.

Should i just be safe and wash it by itself on warm with color safe bleach??

I'm interested in doing a few small projects in my condo (refacing cabinets, new flooring, new countertops), but I'm having trouble finding a contractor. Places like Lowes and Home Depot seem to be geared towards big home remodeling projects.

My real estate agent was a nightmare, so I wouldn't trust anyone she suggested. And my boyfriend and dad are very capable, but it would take forever, it would be completely inconvenient for them, and I want to do this on my own since it's my place.

Any suggestions?
