If you run out of jewelry cleaner, a good substitute is to use Johnson's Baby wash. Simply take 1 part baby wash and mix with 1 part water. Gently stir. Submerse your piece of jewelry in the mixture and allow to soak for about 5 minutes. Lightly brush with a makeup brush to remove body oil residue. Rinse thoroughly under lukewarm water. Dry with a cotton towel, not terry cloth. Wear and enjoy!

The best way to clean jewelry is to take it to the jeweler and have him clean it for you. They can make it look a whole lot better than you could. Most jewelers do not charge for this service

you can use a little detergent, rubbing alchohol and a soft toothbrush. It will get rid of skin oils, dirt, and whatever else you have on your jewelry
