It's not your fault. They don't have a 12 step group for Yahoo Q&A, so until they do you have no responsibility for the addiction.

Let the washing machine while you answer a few questions. Take a break from Yahoo, put the clothes in the dryer, answer more questions while they dry. Take another break from Yahoo
and fold the laundry. etc.
I spend an hr. a day, on Yahoo Answers -
answering questions, and occasionally
asking a question to see how people think.

Yahoo won't give you anything except points for answering questions, but if you don't do housework, you will soon find that there are no clean clothes to wear, no dishes to eat off of, and it will start to smell bad.

Set a timer for 15 minutes. Get on here and when it goes off...Stop and go clean for another 15 minutes (again with the timer). Do that back and forth for about 2 hours. You'll be surprised what you can accomplish in 15 minutes!

Is there something you do not wish to think about? something you do not wish to face and deal with? While doing housework, your mind has time to 'ruminate', mulling over the things you might not have to think about while on line.
Or maybe, you are just tired of the never ending housework...

Ah! but your not the only one , Do as I do 15 min´s here and there . your house work that is . If you set your clock to go off in 15 min´s and see how much you can get done in that time. you will be surprised just how much you can get done , then you still have time to come back , ask or answer , why don´t you try it. then come back & tell us just how much you did in that time.

I have housework and dirty clothes also, but I'm at work and can't do a thing about it. I wish I was at home, I sure wouldn't be on this site, I'd be doing something♥

I hear ya! The living room is loaded with toys that I need to straighten, too. At least the dishes are done.
