My husband uses very soapy water to position the film in place and works the bubbles out with a stiff plastic card or squeegee . Making sure that both sides of tinting are very wet makes it easier to position on the window . Be sure to have assistance on a job this big . We were tinting car windows and that was hard enough . Best Wishes,,,,,,,,Hope this helps

No need to remove panels, or anything. You should, however, see if you can find an affordable professional to do it, so you don't have bubbles later. Your car is still a nice car. Cheap tint or poorly installed may adversely affect the value of your car. There are some NEW TECHNOLOGY tints that blocks out the UV and the heat from entering the car. See if your local tint professional offers it. I did my 03 Accord, and 7 years later, I'm still VERY GLAD I paid the extra bucks for it.

I have done this, but only on regular-sized residential windows. The basic method is simple. The hard part is getting all the air bubbles out. The glass and the film need to be wet with a soapy-water solution (dish soap is good.) Then you use a squeegee.

Here are a couple of web sites that explain it: http://www.lowes.com/lowes/lkn?action=howTo&p=/Energy/WndFlm.html&rn=RightNavFiles/rightNavDoorsWindows+

Frist make sure the window is very clean. There is a wrong side and right side.Put a little dish soap in a spray bottle with water. Spray until very wet , place wipe out all air bubbles. Cut edges with a very sharp knife. You can use a dry wall tool to hold in place and cut pushing tight to edges that need cut for a smooth edge.
