Weird as it may sound, there is carpet in my bathroom. I have classes, I work and have to study, plus everyone uses my bath. How do I maintain it and keep it clean with such a busy schedule??

We have carpet in both of our bathrooms and one day when we get extra (Ha ha) money, we intend to put in tile. But in the meantime, I bought one of those big see-thru plastic mats from an office supply store (I think they are supposed to be used for roller chairs to roll around on) and put it on the bathroom floor right in front of the sink. The mat has little stickers on the bottom that make it stick to the carpet so it does not move around. It covers most of the floor space in the bathroom and I just sweep it and run a wet mop over it to clean. It works for me and it does not look too trashy because you can still see the carpet thru it and the carpet does not get wet.

take up the carpet, if it get wet and all that warmth, you will have mold and mildew growing in the carpet. Put down a 1 piece of linoleum or tile it.

if you feel better to have something better than carpet in your bathroom completely remove it and then replace it with a very nice vinyl floor tile that is the best way to go
