I have a cordyline that was doing fine but now all the new leaves are coming through a lot shorter then the old ones. This has happened before and then came good again.

You could try giving it a balanced plant food...something like 8-8-8. it might just need new soil or nutrients to help it grow.

if it's in a pot, maybe a new pot? if the roots are beginning to wrap around the inside of the pot, it might not be getting enough nutrients to grow efficiently.

If it's not in a pot, then you may just want to try to feed it.

What about weather conditions? If it got cold, it would effect the growth of the plant as well.
