I believe you are talking about the kind of charts that may be in the catalog of patterns in the fabric shop. There is so very much information in and on the pattern envelope itself that there is no room for that kind of chart there. Besides, that is the sort of information you need to choose the pattern, not to sew the pattern once you own it.
