I have no mouse traps that work, and quit using rat poison because the mice smell when they die and start rotting in the walls. I got a bunch in my bedroom, and it makes it hard for me to sleep. Any cheap easy idea's beside getting a cat?

buy those stickys the kind where they get stuck and can't move no more (like glue) that way you'll just throw the sticky away w/ the mouse on it, put them where you know they always run by, they have routines

An ordinary mouse trap would do the job , however you should take care that the trap is not carrying the earlier rat smell as this would deter the rat from entering the trap. Secondly put an half cut onion inside the trap and this will work without fail.

Introduce a mouse with HIV. Just kidding. Sounds like you wouldn't have too feed that cat to much.
