If water was wet, it would be water with water on it. So it would be double water. Water multiplied by two.

Check your water supply, if you have only water, then you can be assured that it is dry water. If there's clearly water on your water, then you've got wet water.

Filtering water will get the wetness off of it. Also, if you freeze double water, and then let it melt, it is just normal water.

Actually, water is liquid, but when applied to objects, they become wet.
