I was ironing something and all of a sudden it starts spitting out drops of water.I cleaned it with some cleaner,rinsed it out but it's still spitting at me..LOL What could be the problem?Do I need to buy a new iron? Thanks guys..you're the best...

either it is dying or you don't have the heat set high enough while on the steam setting. when I clean my iron,I fill it with water& a tablespoon of vinegar, run a stick through the handle long enough to hold the iron over the sink. I put it on the self clean setting (the highest steam setting works if there is no self clean) & just leave it hanging over the sink until it uses all the water & stops steaming

Maybe it's a fake steam iron!Go and get a new one.And this time check and make sure it's a good steam iron

it has built up mineral deposits from using hard water , try a mineral cleaner made for that and use distilled of filtered water in the future .
