Actually, it's more to keep the stones from sinking into the clay/dirt.

does anybody have any ideas or simple plans on how to easily build a small incinerator. In my line of work at the end of the week i am left with tons of cardboard boxes about the size of a shoebox that i am sick of having to jump on, cut up, cruch and so on. Note this incinerator should minimize smoke output if possible?

The radiator has a knob that says "off" turn counter clockwise, I turn it all the way and the heat doesn't seem to go down, I would think that less water would go through the radiator. Any know how th eknob works...do I turn it half way to stop the water from passing through? I know this sounds silly but the knob moves up and down but the heat doesn't seem to change.

We just bought a house a few months ago and one of the toilets is constantly clogging up. It's an upstairs toilet. There is another one on the same floor that is fine.

I'm thinking the previous owners must have dropped something into it that lodged in the flush pipe. I've replaced toilets before, so I'm okay with taking it off the base, trying to fish it out, and get a new wax ring and replace it, but I'm not looking forward to it. Is there another good way to try to fix this?

I have been quoted $8200 to supply and install two complete 13 seer AC systems - one for downstairs, one for upstairs. As an option the company has also quoted for 14 seer units - the price is significantly higher at $11,900.

Is there any real benefit in the 14 seer over 13 seer and if so, how long would it take to recoup the extra cost through lower utility bills?

I can't get a chain-link gate open because of ice under it that won't melt. It doesn't get warm enough outside to melt on its own. Is there an easy way to melt it? I've tried chipping at it with no success.

Our lemon tree has tons of lemons on it. Some of the lemons have little bite looking spots. Some have a large spot of white--covering maybe 1/4 to 1/3 of the lemon. Almost looks rotten but isn't. Most of the lemons are fine. Help!
