I bought a wallpaper cutting tool (think of a pizza cutter but smaller and alot sharper) and tested the sharpness on the box it came in, it cut through that and about 1 inch of the leather suite the box was leaning on - a very silly mistake.
Its a perfect cut and im sure i can glue it together. Someone suggested finding the offcut of leather on the suite and poking it through the hole, then glueing the cut together with 'leather glue'.
Has anyone any ideas if this is the right way of doing this and where i can get 'leather glue'.
Thanks in advance.

I have tried hairspray, bleach, alcohol, nail polish remover, eucalyptus oil, WD40 etc. My daughter is 3 and she copied and drew all over her other doll for which we told her off. I didn't realise at the time she was just copying what someone else had done and now I want to get the marker out of her doll so that it isn't there as a reminder. Someone wrote her name but mis-spelled it to make it even worse! Any help greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Why is it that when someone asks a question in a do-it-yourself forum, there are always a handful of incompetents that answer "call a professional", because they themselves don't know how to do whatever is being asked? Is it just to get points for "answering" a question? Even though their answer simply indicates their own inability?

We are remodeling our bathroom. We just moved into this house, and the people who lived here before used some kind of tile that isnt supposed to be in the shower, so the tiles were falling off the walls. We removed all the tiles and noticed some black colored mold underneath the tiles, probably due to water build up behind there. How do we kill it before we put up new tile?

I am finishing my basement & want to put in cable outlets. Can I run RG6 lines parallel to each other without interference? How about parallel to electrical outlet & light switch wires? How about distance between cable outlets & electrical outlets? Or is any interference going to be so minimal, I won't notice?

Do I have to put my pilot lights out to clean? What can I use to clean around the pilot lights and thingers where the gas comes out? Is it safe to use ammonia- or bleach-based cleaners?

I have a severe ant problem. Usually it's worse after it rains. Hundreds of them get in my bath tub and in the sinks. They
are in the living room and kitchen too. How can I kill them outside and inside as well? And where can I buy the products?

...I heard there are places that come to your house and collect old materials like wood, drywall, etc. and give u cash for it. I guess they recycle those materials.

I'm rehabbing my house & wanted to know where I can contact people or companies that do this.

(In or around Chicago, IL)

Thanx!

I flip houses & normally don't have this problem but.... the house I just purchased has a horrible lawn! Moss, weeds, bare spots, etc. So I have six weeks to turn this lawn around. Now I know I can go out & get sod, but we're talking a 15,000 square foot lot! I don't want to spend that kind of time or money.

Does anyone have any suggestions on what I can do without spending an arm & a leg? Keep in mind...this house is in Seattle (so lots of rain), it will be walked on (due to laborors) and I want it to look decent. Please help!
