Does anyone know where I can get stain for my brick house? I don't believe concrete stain will work. I would need it to be from some place I could just order it from, not where they come and do it for you. Thanks!

I have to lay 12" x 12" slate on the floor of my bath and need to know if I just go around the toilet, or take it out, tile up to the hole, then reinstall it. What's the proper way and then how do you compensate for the lift of the toilet with the seal if you go under it?

I came home tonight and my cats had knocked a bottle of red wine from the top of my fridge onto my ceramic tile floor. I'm really worried about the grout because I rent. I got down and scrubbed it with Clorox OxiMagic but it still looks very dingy. Does anyone know of a better way to clean it?
Thanks!

It is white latex paint on a pair of medium to dark blue jeans. Not sure if it is water or oil based, so please address both (if this is even possible).

First, yes, I'm going to call a plumber... this week.
South Texas had extreme freezing temps this past week. I let all my faucets drip to help keep the pipes from freezing. But on Thursday, after the major freeze was over, my toilet wouldn't flush. So, I plunged it, thinking that would help. It helped only a little. The next time I flushed it, water came gurgling up through my bathtub drain! After a couple hours, the tub water drains, but whenever I either flush the toilet or plunge the toilet (as flushing it doesn't really drain the water from the toilet) water bubbles up from the tub drain.
Also, the house is about 27 years old. And it was built by the Ray Ellison company, which is notorious in this area for having built some really shoddy houses (they've already gone out of business).

So... are my toilet problems due to freeze, oldness, bad building technique? How pricey does it sound like this will be? Thanks.

I left the burner on accident and left an oven mitt on top of it. It's one of those flat oven tops where the burners are kinda "inside" the whole thing..... meaning it's all flat on top - no removable burners or anything like that. Is there any way to salvage that burner? Did I ruin it? Can I clean it off with anything??? HELP!

Is it bad to use anti-bacterial stuff? Which cleaning solution is the best? (I normally take everything out and wash the racks in the sink. Then I wipe the inside w/ a wet, soapy washcloth). Thanks!!

I just bought a new microfiber blanket and it seems to shed small little balls of fuzz. I love the blanket because it is nice and warm and soft, but it kinda makes a mess. I have tried washing it in hopes the fuzzy things will come off, but it didnt do much. Any ideas? Best advice gets the 10 points!!!

I want to purchase a corn burning stove. Don't plan on using it as a total heat source for our home.....maybe a medium sized one. What brands are the better quality and what is the poor quality stoves? How much $$ will they cost on average? What experiences good or bad have you had with a corn burning stove? How long have you owned your stove?
