Read it carefully. I bought one that was supposed to cover everything no matter what. However, I had a couple of tears that I wanted covered and it has been a pain to have it happen. First I had to call an 800 number, was put on hold for 35 minutes before they took my "claim". Then the person says I need to send several photos of the issue in question (from different angles) to an address back east. 4-6 weeks after they receive the photos (which must be received by them within so many days of the claim -which must be called in to them within so many days of the incident), then they will finally send out a technician to look at and possibly repair the tear.

Best of luck.

On a side note - The best leather cleaner and conditioner Ihave found they sell at Ashley furniture. I love that stuff. I even use it on the seats in my Lexus.

Think carefully about extended warranties, many of them are only ways for someone to make more money at your expense. However, some are worth while having.

be careful with those long warranties, not always in your best interest. If you use leather cleaning and conditioning products you should have no problem with the standard warrantee.

I turned it down. Usually those policies are losers

I will continue to turn down extended warranties. In the long run I will be a winner.
