It makes this grinding/crunching sound when you sit down or move. I have tried WD40 and lubricating grease, but it still does it. It's really annoying and loud. The chair is only 2 months old and has done this since I bought it! Help!

I have recently purchased a very small home...as a single mom it was the best I could do. However, lately, a lot of my family and friends (the same ones that told me it was smart to buy this house) have said that I will have a hard time making a profit on the home when I resale. I have no plans to resale until at least 5 years...but what are some inexpensive and possible do it yourself improvements I could make that would result in increasing the value of the home. Thank you!

Hi,
I have my surface mounted electrical panel mounted on my 3/8 plywood wall of my addition. I would like to use the punch out holes on the back, feeding the wires from the interior right through the plywood into the unit. I have the metal holes punched out, and the plywood cut. What is kind of connector should I use on the panel? Thanks for your time

My hot-water-bottle leaked in my bed last week. The rubber seems to have perished.
I've still got it because I don't like to waste anything if I can avoid it. Does anyone know if local authorities here in the UK have any recycling facilities for rubber.
If not, what do you all do with your old hot-water-bottles?
Anyone got an imaginative idea for an alternative use?

A pen split all over our white cotton sofa cover last night and I have put it in on a wash with bleach and washing powder to soak but it still hasn't come out. How can I get it out? Its a rented apartment and I don't want to have to pay out extra for a new sofa.
