I have recently purchased a very small home...as a single mom it was the best I could do. However, lately, a lot of my family and friends (the same ones that told me it was smart to buy this house) have said that I will have a hard time making a profit on the home when I resale. I have no plans to resale until at least 5 years...but what are some inexpensive and possible do it yourself improvements I could make that would result in increasing the value of the home. Thank you!

properly i think of you're able to desire to, yet then i'm biased as i'm a wood worker and that's how I generate income ! Tbh, rob s and Misty have it approximately remarkable. preserving a contractor presented in warm/chilly beverages and offering some biscuits is extremely favored. Tea from a flask is on no account the comparable as a freshly brewed mug of char. As for truthfully money..........in the event that they have long previous the greater effective mile, consistent with danger completed some greater effective artwork that wasn't part of the contract or labored in somewhat antagonistic situations then particular, a tip isn't a foul thought. In England a tip is on no account predicted by skill of contractors so if a shopper can provide some thing that's easily favored. Normaly a shopper could furnish, say £10-£20 'for a pair of pints for the adult males' , that's in many situations precisely what it extremely is spent on......a hard-earned pint down the pub on the top of a job properly completed.

Do not let them worry you. What is the rush to resell? This is your home.

Make it yours with fresh paint and wonderful colors.

Remember curb appeal, so it looks fabulous from the street. These are things we can do a little at a time.

Use great fabrics for pillows along with new paint.

Go through decorating magazines for Ideas.

Our libraries have free magazines. People take them there and pick up the ones they want. Sort of an exchange. It is a great way to get expensive recent magazines.

Good Luck with your new home. Make it yours.
