My hot-water-bottle leaked in my bed last week. The rubber seems to have perished.
I've still got it because I don't like to waste anything if I can avoid it. Does anyone know if local authorities here in the UK have any recycling facilities for rubber.
If not, what do you all do with your old hot-water-bottles?
Anyone got an imaginative idea for an alternative use?

Either recycle if possible or throw away. Personally, I thought the use of hot water bottles went out a long time ago as there are now much better alternatives.

I don't have any. I can't remember the last time I saw one. I think I was in the single digit age! Hmm. Let's see. Make a sink drain stopper? Fashion it into a new rubber stamp? Cut it open and use it to line something that you don't want water to leak out of (assuming you can find the leak). Personally-I think it should go out in the trash.
