I purchased an iron that has a button for steam (next to the button for spray). Spray I understand, but I've never used a steam option before. How do I best utilize this? (I don't have the instructions anymore).

I have a gas furnance with forced air fan; about 5 years now ; the burner fires up ; all tubes light but then go off; fan is on; tries to recycle again , fires up and then gas shuts off again; and again and so on ; works sometimes but more often does this off /on cycle; Gas company came our (twice) said that it is sensitive to dust; I have dusted that thing like crazy; he took it apart, couldn't find anything; again sometimes works sometimes not; we are on a slab so it is in a closet with vented doors; I took one door off to prevent a circulation problem ; still the same. any suggestions;

I've broke the lid to my standard size crock pot, with removable liner. The warming part still works. Has anyone discovered a use for either of these items?

I have a house and the brick walls have these long bolts and big wooden washers that are 1x4. The long bolt goes through the wall, and these ugly wooden washers, that are on here to keep the bricks together are here.

Is there another method I could use to stop or repsir the cracks in the brick walls, by removing these things and doing something else?

I don't want the walls to fall down, but I want to repair them differently to make them nicer looking. Outside you can see the obvious cracks/separation of the bricks.

It is awful to look at them in my bedroom & kitchen. They ruin the room's appeal.

Last night I was getting ready to cook something in my microwave when it made a funny buzzing noise. Now the light and control buttons still work, but nothing that I put in there will cook at all, not even microwave popcorn. I have one of those microwaves that is installed above my stove, so I am worried about the cost of replacing it partly because it looks like I will have to also have it installed. Is it easy to install one of these types, or does an appliance man usually do it?

Does anyone have any info on buying seeds, growing and keeping Lavender? We have a garden, totally adore Lavender but we don't know the first thing about gardening. We live in Central Scotland. Any web-sites would be most welcome also. Many thanks :o)

Hi. I am going to buy a router and a routing table. I want to cut a bunch (like 100's) of small circles (2 inches - 7 inches) for a project. Is it best to use the router and hold it, or do this on a routing table while the router is flipped upside down and coming up through the hole (I'm not good with the technical jargon!). I would love to do it on a routing table, but is this even possible to cut perfect cirlces?

It is wet season in northern Australia, the Kikuyu grass in my lawn is unattractive and yellow, I wish to green it up. Fertilisers I am usng are not working any suggestions? It is growing fine just not green. Watering is not a problem due to wet season. Grass out front is fine it just seems to be the new established stuff that is yellow
