i got a brand new dress, and when i went to show it to someone, i stepped on their front poorch with somekind of kittylitter and salt solvent so it wasn't slick, anyways that's what got on my dress. I tested with a spot towards the bottom with water, and it got it out but left it bumpy. Should i do that to the whole thing and then get in steamed? or is there something that will work better??

Our water pipes are frozen solid and the only my dad knows of to fix it is by buying these really expensive things. Okay maybe not that expensive, but they're like $300-$400. My dad is waiting for his check to come, but until then, we have no water. Please help. I really need to take a shower. The check was supposed to come yesterday, too, but I guess our family is just unlucky. I would really appreciate any help at all. Thanks.

I have bought a white skirt. I wore it just once. Unfortunately for traveling i packed the shampoo and clothes in the same bag and all the sunsilk (black) shampoo got out and made the stains on the skirt. i washed it couple of times but the stains are not coming off.

Please help me.
Thankyou very much.

I had to change the AC supply and I didn't look at the wiring. One wire is just gray and the other has a darker gray line that runs through it. Any help appreciated, thanks.

Does anyone know about how much in general it may cost to put a privacy wood fence up in your back yard? The yard is not wide but narrow. I am not sure of the exact footage though. I am just looking for some rough estimates

One side is a normal air mattress and the other side has fabric on it so it's hard to see if their are any holes.

I was an idiot and bought this nice looking pair of 60% linen - 40% cotton slacks. Dockers - so I thought - ok brand, they should be good. Well, even after I iron them, they still look wrinkled - and an hour after wearing them, I look as if I slept in them.
Am I better off taking them to the dry cleaners and have them pressed with some starch? I'm a single guy that is lost on this one. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I have some framed paintings I want to hang, but when I went to tear off the price stickers I found that it left me with the back of the sticker. Is there some sort of mixture I could try to get the remnants off? Thanks!

I put a disposable dinner tray directly on the rack (instead of a cookie sheet as per instruction) and then boosted oven passed recommended temprerature to fast pre-heat oven. The plastic tray melted, and solidified all over the rack and bottom of the oven, I have been able to scrape most of it off the bottom of the oven but the rack is another story. Any suggestions other than melt it off (makes too much smoke), would be appreciated.
Serious answers only, I already know I'm an idiot.

I have a rental property that was built in 1948 without dryer connection. To add the dryer hookup, we need to update the breaker box to accommodate the 220v line, which we already hired a licensed electrician to do. After this, I guess we just need to dig a hole in the wall to drain the water out. Can this be done by DIY and how to do it?

I'd like to take some old books (an old dictionary, maybe a collected works of Shakespeare) and make it into an end table. Anyone ever do this type of project? Advice on how to attack it?

Thanks,
