don´t worry you will get the hang of it soon the tablets go in the little drawer should be inside the machine , my one is on the inside, you also have to have dishwasher salt , then also you need the liquid that gives the dishes a nice shine . the one you have 5in1 is fine I use the same it should tell you on the outside of the machine all the programs ,

there should be a little flap or drawer on the inside of the door where you put the tablets. most machines need a rinse aid that usually goes in the door aswell, that also depends on which tablets you are using. you should use dishwasher salt too. i give my dishwasher a good rinse thru on a hot wash if i havent used it for a while

Didn't you get a users manual ? i think if you are using 5 in 1 tablets you dont need any thing else for it but water, some washers have a small flip out drawer thing you put the tablet and the machine will release it when it's programme starts.
Sit back relax and throw away your rubber gloves.

Did it not come with an Instruction book?

Finish tablets usually go in the tray provided.you also need rinse aid and to fill the container that holds this solution.

All washers are different in design, so its not easy to answer your question. Read the manual, is the best way.

If the machine is new you must have had a manual with instructions on its use. I suggest you read it.

I agree with others, RTFM. One tip, if you live in a hard water area and need salt, get Water Softener Salt from DIY store (Homebase) 25kg sack..... far cheaper than tesco etc.
