They need bleeding. There is air in them. Easy to do.

Hi. If there was air in the radiators, the top would be cold, so they probably don't need bleeding. More likely the problem is due to a very poor flow of hot water through them. If you've got this problem in all your radiators, check your pump is working correctly. If some radiators are OK, but others not, you may need to balance their flows. The other possible reason is that if your system is quite old, sludge may have built up in the radiators and pipes. Good luck.

they need bleeding now you can get an all in one kit key is in the end u turn the key and the radiator vents the air out and then hot water comes out and this goes into the plastic box type thing that's attached to it saves you having to wipe any water that spills or you getting burnt as the water is very hot , don't have to put a bowl at the bottom of radiator to catch the water which always misses some and spills onto carpet/lino/or wooden flooring which ever you have think you can get them from all major d i y stores or even your locall diy shop best of luck BUT BE CARE FULL THE WATER IS B****Y HOT

You need to "bleed" your radiators with the tool supplied with them. A small aperture at the top of each radiator takes the key to perform the "bleeding "task. Be very careful, water will spout out which will be hot and dirty.
Also a cause of cold bottoms, not yours, could be a build of silt in the radiator, which will need to be removed but that will entail removing the radiators rom the wall.

It is sludge accumulating in the bottom of the radiator, thus the hot water can only flow around it. If you had air in the radiator they would be cold at the top.
You probably need the system flushing, but you could remove each radiator one at a time and blast them through with a hose pipe.
The sludge build up is as a result of corrosion in the system, so it is probably in your boiler as well.
You should really have the whole system professionally power flushed and refilled with an anti corrosion chemical such as Fernox

because you have an airlock in them. You need to 'bleed' them to release the air and then the hot water can flow freely.

They need bleeding - you can get a bleeding key from your local DIY store.

Sounds like they need bleeding.
Pretty easy to do if you have the correct key.
