bathroom wall too uneven to tile directly on to it what adhesive to use to attach blueboard or what is the best type to use e.g.blueboard,villaboard?

Use galvanized drywall screws

It's hung just like sheetrock, so you would use screws. Do not use nails or you will get nail pops and since it is a bathroom, you will get the pops within the first week or two (humidity causes the walls to expand, so the nails will pop rather soom).

You can find them at any home hardware store. I use 1 3/4" drywall screws (galvanized).

I suggest cement board instead of blue board. While the blueboard is a necessity for the bathroom (it can withstand the wet and expands less with humidity), cement board is the recommended backing to tile, since you have a lot of weight from the tile and grout. This board is blackish/grey and spackes well, except on corners. It can be kind of tricky with the notched trowel to apply the adhesive but if you have patience it will work out. And if I can do it, anyone can. :)
