If it's your own blood, and it's fresh, use saliva (spit on them). Enzymes in it will break down the stain. Then wash in cold water with detergent.

Hydrogen peroxide will usually remove the stain; however, you may also consider taking it to a dry cleaner...tell them what it is (blood) and they can remove it professionally.

Blot it with hydrogen peroxide, let it bubble for half a minute, immediately run it under cold water, then wash as normal.

Oxy Clean works on everything - just spray and let it sit a half hour or so. It's amazing stuff!
