I purchased an iron that has a button for steam (next to the button for spray). Spray I understand, but I've never used a steam option before. How do I best utilize this? (I don't have the instructions anymore).

You just push the button for it. But you have to have water. You really should use distilled water. Tap water will hurt you iron inside. It's much easier to just buy a dollar spray bottle, and spray the clothing you want damp when ironing to get the wrinkles out easy. It also makes a very sharp crease where ever you want one. When using the steam setting, it takes much longer to do all of this. Good luck.

Make sure there is water in the water receptacle, should have a button to push for steam, better than spray..steam comes out the bottom and is hot, spray just gets it wet and then you go over it with the iron...Go on line and go to the companies web site and you may be able to view directions on line....hope this helps!

Make sure there is water in the iron. This is a MUST. Once the iron has heated up put (place) the iron where you want steam. Once the iron is set there then press the steam button. The iron at this point should blow (shoot) out a blast of steam.

You put the water in your iron, you set thet button to steam, then wait a few minutes, then iron any cotton clothing. The steam really gets out the wrinkles!

Fill it with water... when you want to make a seam or blast a bad wrinkle, hit the steam button.
There is a temp range on the control for steam... set the control high enough to get in the range for the button to send a blast of steam..

Good luck!
