It is white latex paint on a pair of medium to dark blue jeans. Not sure if it is water or oil based, so please address both (if this is even possible).

If the paint is latex, then it is water- based, and it should come out in the washing machine with regular detergent. If it is oil based paint, then there is nothing you can do about it. You can wash the jeans and it may lessen the stain, but it will be there for good. Sorry. :( Hope that helps.

There is an old cleaner called Lestoil removes paint and oil. Second choice would be Murphys. Make sue you rub them in fabric. Good Luck

I had this problem not long ago, paint did not wash out. I took a serated knife and scraped the paint off sideways. It worked great and jeans are quite durable, so you can't even tell.

Many fabric stores sell paints for clothes that will not wash out. Try Ben Franklin

If you have not washed and dried them yet, I used fingernail polish remover. It worked better than anything else including paint thinner.

if its water based, used soap and water.
if it is oil based it may not come out ,but use a little thinners to dilute the paint.
be careful as thinners is dangerous stuff esp around kids etc
