do not do a activities themed bedroom. those are somewhat geeky once you get previous 12, and this can take you into your overdue years. i might want to do.... Cool gray walls with a pair of black and white images. Cool (aka Blueish) gray is relax. White molding. Minimalist mattress and bigger stuff from ikea, ideally birch. White mattress linens. a million spectacular present day chair. a million finished length mirror. it would properly be small and skinny yet its a need. attempt to no longer keep too a lot crap round yet not in any respect make it appear like you try. also, with each and every of the money saved you should purchase a refrigerator to keep sodas in and stuff or you would probable merely somewhat apply it on your activities.

Don't stack anything in a toddlers room. They climb.
Storage under the bed is a good idea.

One thing you could do is to elevate the bed to allow more storage under it.

Storage systems are another space maker.

Wall pegs for hanging laundry bags can help with organization.

Plastic milk cartons put on their sides and stacked up make ideal for toys.

Go to local thrift stores or goodwill and they have lots of children's storage bins or toy boxes for next to nothing. My mother-in-law bought a $50 Little Tykes storage for my niece and she only paid $3 !! it would be worth checking out.

Stacked cubes and a wardrobes or if you are really resourceful you can spray paint (make sure the paint is child safe) cardboard boxes and stack them. You can paint them to look like cars or boats, etc or if it is a girl's room then make them look like doll houses and or kitchen appliances. You can use these for clothes or toys for storage--you name it.

If you can't afford shelving use hooks or combine. I completely understand where you are coming from if you can't shelve it hang it. Even from the ceilings. Which is good to amuse and create curiosity in babies.
