No. ladybugs are bugs. And non-spider bugs are typically arthropods.

No single insect has vertebrae. All insects have exoskeletons made of chitin (pronounced k-eye-tin). No skeleton means no vertebrae.

I don't think ANY insect is a vertebrate, especially beetles. They have an "exo-skeleton" , it is on the outside. (their shell)
