I want to rewire my house. The wiring right now makes no sence and is inefficient. Can I use 10 guage ROMEX wire to rewire the whole house? I am looking at buying a 1000 ft roll of ROMEX wire for this project and would like to use only the 10 gauge ROMEX. Is their a code that says I cannot do that? Most 110 line is either 12 or 14 gauge wire. This is why I am asking.

I only want ONE wall with the wallpaper, the other walls are a plaint white paint. The wall that I want with the wallpaperis the one labeled "BROWN WALL" on the pic (click link). The wallpaper I want is similar to the one shown in this site:

We have 2 bathrooms in our house and everytime there is two people showering at the same time or if you use it right after someone, hot water only comes on for like 10 mins. Is there switch I can crank up or something? I should mention that, other wise the water temp is fine and lasts a lot longer.

Hi,
I'm painting a ceramic-glazed plate using paints for fabric/ceramic & other surfaces. I wanted to test it...so I rubbed my finger against the paint; nothing happened, so I scratched it gently, and it started flaking off.

The paint instructions say that you have to blow-dry the surface after 24 hrs, which I haven't done as yet. Will that keep it from flaking?

If not, should I use a transparent varnish or lacquer? Can you plz recommend some names?

Also, I plan to use this plate as a serving dish....can food be safely kept on a varnished / lacquered surface or are there some other precautions I need to take?

Thanks.

I want to know if i need to hire an electrician to wire my laundry hookup with 220. Dryer electrical requirements are: 30 amp, 120/240 volts, 60 htz. A four-wire or three-wire, sigle phase electrical supply required. A time-delay fuse or circuit breaker and separate circuit is recommended.
