I've searched amazon, B&N, etc., but I haven't found a book that focuses on Arkansas.

I can recommend 2 books for you. Wildflowers of Arkansas by Carl G. Hunter and Petersons field guide Wildflowers of North East & North Central of North American. Hope this helps and grow native!!

Try a botanical garden bookstore in Arkansas. Most local gift shops have such specialty books.

Most of the gardening and plant books are written for all zones.When you see what zone you live in then you can decide which plants will work.

Contact the Dept of Agriculture in Ark. They can most likely be looked through government .org. They like most state governments may offer free literature for what you are wanting to do. good luck
