Im redoing my bedroom. I already have a sketch of what i want. To see the measures of the room click here:

I only want ONE wall with the wallpaper, the other walls are a plaint white paint. The wall that I want with the wallpaperis the one labeled "BROWN WALL" on the pic (click link). The wallpaper I want is similar to the one shown in this site:

Still not sure of the color, it maybe a a sort of raspberry red,or black & white. So tell me what you think...

Victorian wallpaper can look amazing in a modern room! You can basically use whatever color you like (I really like the look) but you might like to know that black&white is really coming into style right now.

Yes, it can definitely work together, the eclectic look can be very pleasant.

If you look at the picture on the stencil link, the art in the pic is very contemporary and the furniture is not victorian.

As on your furnishings, you need to sandpaper it to make it look older, or go away it and in simple terms beautify different components of your room. shop around at previous shops, thrift shops, and flea markets and you will in all probability locate some cool classic products, be imaginitive!

dont think you could ever make it look modern--but thats a good thing, because the tension created by combining old with new is very lively. they can be perfectly harmonious while contrasting.
