Drop 5 denture cleaner tablets along with a cup of clorox bleach and half cup of salt and a cup of vinegar. Squeeze some tooth whitener toothpaste around ring. Let that set for 3 hours , then swish. Let it set overnight . Your toilet will sparkle.

White vinegar should work. We have extremely hard water here and to keep that mark gone i simply pour about 1 to 2 cups in the bowl...do this slowly...let it sit for a couple of hours...maybe do it before you leave for work and when you come back..you should be able to use the regular toilet brush to remove all the marks. If this has been an ongoing problem...you might want to retreat again...but after you have them off..if you put in a cup once a week and let sit for a bit...you won't have anymore problems with it. By the way..vinegar not only works..its non toxic doesn't cause fumes and won't burn your skin. It's also very inexpensive. Good luck

There is an inexpensive cleaner that you can get at Wal-Mart called "The Works". It costs less than $2 per bottle.

Just put a little in the bowl, clean with a brush like normal and then let it set for a little while.

We bought a building that used to be a Pizza Hut and it's public toilets were terrible but this stuff was recommended to me by a professional cleaning service in our town and it worked great.

Bleach usually works but you may have to scrub a little. I think there are also products available to keep this from happening again.
