Definitely! With the construction going on, all of the critters tunnels and homes are being smashed and dug up. That leaves them no choice but to look for someplace else to go. They will want to stay close to home so they will stay in the neighborhood.

Yes. Their territory has been invaded so they seek for new shelter. Imagine living comfortably in your home with everything you need around you. All of a sudden, someone decides that they want to expropriate you because your house is in their way of their new high rise. We often take for granted that nature was there first. Modern civilization has taken over because of new developments going up everyday. We often have skunks, gofers, rabbits, in our backyards from all the construction going on all around us. It's sad really.
